January 24, 2017, millions of people took part in women’s marches in the United States and around the world. Friends, critics and even the marchers woke up the next morning and asked, “What do WE do next?” “What do I do next?”

This blog was born out of a wish to help answer that question for myself and other people.

I am a 70+ grandmother who has two degrees in political science, worked in Washington for 30 years for a number of nonprofit groups, and believe it is still possible for every American to make a difference for issues that matter to them: education, immigration, gun control, the environment, social justice.

Over the next weeks I’ll be posting information about organizations, websites, books and people to help me and the readers make a difference, to become in whatever way we choose a political activist.

As the Beach Boys said, “Go, Granny, Go!”
